Oh, and it's fun. I just found awesome stuff that I didn't know existed.

Like things that would make 505 jealous.

First, the idea of tooling around Europe in one of the crappiest American cars ever manufactured sees like fun. Also, it's in amazingly good condition. For what it is, I want to preserve it.

This has been for sale for a while. There is no rule saying I cannot make it a bit more Giordini, and imagine showing up to Spa or Nurburgring in this!

This could be interesting, too.

I WANT THAT 504!!!!!!!!!! Why is it so cheap? Is there much rust, or does it lack paperwork? An 504 in half-decent shape should go for double that ammount....

I found about a half-dozen for 6,000 Euro or under. It seems to have paperwork. Here's another.

Oh. Last time i checked they seemed more expensive than this, that's why i thought these would be neglected. And yes they are, it's just a question, of how neglected? Patina i can live with, big rust or lost papers is a no-go....

What type of car are you looking for? A turn key classic, a mild drivable project or a restoration candidate?

Something I can wrench on when I feel like it and drive it to work when I need to (like on days like today when the wife has the wagon.) Something I can maybe take around "da ring" and Spa, too, for fun without looking too much like an idiot.

I was just playing on Autoscout again. The 205 GTI may work.

That has to be the cleanest Citation in the multiverse.

Of a 504 Coupé! Awesome cars. Get the V6 Manual. Or the 2.0 with the infamous Kügelfischer.

Forget about that Dauphine, it's too slow to use as a second car. Really.

I'm just left asking why. Why would you bring that across an ocean?

that 504 looks ragged as hell. BEWARE! Dare I say the Citation might be one of the better drivers of the bunch?

the 504 would be fantastic if you wanted to throw some money at it, and it would be a great car to bring back with you, but it just looks like it has sat. Those cars dont sit well

Looks like it is a complete EU spec — speedo is in k/m without mi on it!

The first 504 I found does have some issues — seems to be crappy interior and non-standard steering wheel. I found a different one that needs some body work on the hood but has a pristine interior for 800 euro more.

Definitely the Gamma Coupe. It won't make it off the lot but at least you break down in style.
